jschro to be honest, I didn't realize the benefit of Cerulean Wisps at first either. The article I read claimed it created an extra mana.. so I went back to look at the cards and then I realized how it worked. Some things aren't always so obvious in this glorious game

jschro The reason we went with the Cerulean over the Crimson Wisps is that it creates an extra mana, which could be crucial to casting Grapeshot. Between that and the Gitaxian Probe it lets us get that extra source of mana if we do only have 1 land (and yes, the deck can operate on one land.. for that reason)

jschro George.. my brother made some changes to the deck after finding an article on the deck online. He ended up putting in 3 non cantrips.. 2 Distortion Strike, 1 Assault stobe. TBH, I think the Assault Strobe is overkill and would probably replace it with a Mizzium skins. BUTTTT, I did goldfish it as is and did 52 points of damage on turn 2. Edited the deck to show the changes made. Going all in on the combo seems the way to go.. mulligan somewhat aggressively and keep your fingers crossed! Seriously though, after goldfishing 3 games it seems to be fairly consistent. Dropped to 11 lands and that has made a huge difference in not fizzling out. Try it out and see what you think.

BigDaddyDre Yes, but Second Sunrise is only for those put into the graveyard from the battlefield during that turn. Invigorating Deed can be activated at any time. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter though George.
