This is something I've been working with for a little while now and it's done fairly well.
Don't tell me Hypnotic is better than guul draz, because I know. I'd have him in there if I could get a couple. Theres some spot removal in there and a little burn. Jund charm is mass removal and keeps the grave in check. Bloodbraid...well she does her thing. You can cascade into anything but the specter. Hopefully not the terminate unless you need it. A free blightning is pretty awesome. So is a free specter.

Why not take out the Refuges and put in some Savage Lands? It would give you more colors per land, but you lose the life gain. I think it would help a lot more to have a stable mana base than a few extra points of life. All systems go! Soon the world will know! The fury of attack, face the wrath of the SUPER RAD!

Thanks man. I thought about putting Madrush Cyclops in there, and I had him in there for a while. I took it out after I could never get him onto the field. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.

I took out the savage lands because I couldn't ever get my hands on any. I never played with anthing but esper so I didn't have any when I got back into the game. If I can get my hands on some, I'd gladly put them in there. And on top of that, I've been play testing this against burn so I was expecting a turn one lightning bolt and a little life gain made the difference a couple times. Thanks though. I'll look into it. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.

Sweet I really like it. Enough discard to keep them immobilized, but not so much that it is the only way to win. Since you need such specific mana with the deck, I don't know if I would run 4 island since the only card that needs it is Sedraxis Specter. Maybe two island and two terramorphic expanse or something like that. Nice deck. -Please rate and comment on my decks, "Hank's Bant Allied," and "The Overlord"

I like it, the only thing I'd change, is I would take out the Sedraxis Specters, for Colossal Might, I think it would help you win faster.

I like the specters too much to take them out. Although I admit I overlooked Colossal Might. It'd be great to cascade into that or to pump one of the specters. Maybe put that in instead of burst lightning? I don't really use it for spot removal, more of just burning my opponent. And yeah I can understand what you mean about the islands. The only reason I went four of was because I didn't have any savage lands and I had the double lands for the other colors. I'm going to look at some fetch lands to cut back on basics. Ok. Since I can't easily get my hands on a misty rainforest, I'm adding jwar isle refuge. It solves the problem I ran into with having no savage lands, and it lets me cut back on the islands withough sacrificing productivity. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.

Nice. It's got a lot of momentum to the point that it seems unstoppable if the right cards cascade in.

I agree with your statement about the Hypnotic Specter though. Are they really that difficult to come by now adays? Rate/Comment on my "Knights of the Relentless Soul" and "Vampire Wine" decks - I always rate/comment back.

It wouldn't be difficult to get them if I was really determined. There are a few in the local store binder, but I don't feel like paying for them while I've got guul draz specters. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.

Ninja Muffin has a tendency to bash decks a lot.
He aggro'd himself into an arguement one time and the result was he deleted his decks so no one could see the arguement and the ass he made of himself during it. I found it rather humerous though lol.
Oh one more thing.
You think Bitumious Blast would be to much cost?
It's like a 6 drop with cascade and it deals 4 to a creature I do believe.
Cascade those into another Bloodbraid then cascade that into a rip clan crasher? Nice fast little combo.
Just a thought though.
Don't go by that since it's all circumstantial.
You'll probably cascade into something petty and useless knowing your luck.
=p
Jk. Please comment and rate my Valakut deck and or my Bushwhacker's Miny Assault. I shall return the favor. x.Herron.x

AAAAGHHH! The manabase, it burns! But seriously, you're trying to cast RGB and UBR at 3 and BG, BR, and GR at 2, all with 12 basics in your deck. Additionally, you're only playing 22 lands, something that Jund aggro decks don't ever want (because missing land drops puts them way behind tempo-wise). I'd recommend trying some Ancient Ziggurat in your deck, as they fix most of your mana issues. I'd also opt out of Rip-Clan Crasher. It's not that much more exciting than a Raging Goblin, imo, and we all know how powerful that card is :) Depending on if you run Ziggurat or not, Bitumionus Blast is another silly cascade spell, and then with 8 maindecked you'll win a lot of games on auto-pilot. If not, perhaps a couple Bolts maindecked for extra removal/burn?

Overall, it's pretty decent, but the mana looks horrible and it's not really that original (especially considering a Wizards article within a week of the post showcasing the same deck idea)...

Lastly, playtest against people who don't Bolt you turn one. If they're doing that, you should be winning most of the time anyways :) MTG Lvl 1 Judge and one of your MTGFanatic Moderators! Birds of Paradise Count: 28

Thanks to everyone. It's kind of hard to playtest against people who don't run burn when there are only like 5 to 6 people in my area that play. Originally the ziggurats where in the proxy, but at the moment, I don't really have the resources to get my hands on some. I just started playing again about a month after zendikar came out, and almost none of my trade material is still legal. I did consider bituminous blast. I tried to keep the deck as cheap as I could, using only what I could get my hands on. But I'm definitely looking into the changes. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.

Ok, I tried to fix the mana base with what I had available, and I added the bituminous blasts over burst lightnings. I'm debating on whether or not to scrap the clashers for some colossal hunger. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.

why oh why would you add misty rainforest? verdant catacombs would be much better. add in dragon skull summit and rootbound crag, catacombs would trigger both of these. jund charm is alright, but volcanic fallout is so much better. graveyard isnt that important right now since reveillark is now out and there is not too much recursion to worry about so the uncounterable is going to help you a lot more. as a jund deck goes, this is alright, not perfect, it has quite a few flaws that needs to be fixed such as manabase and removal. comment on the deck "New Bant" and i will return the favor Iron Chef Mtg Competitor, come stop by the thread and see what is cooking on the site, lots of fun to be had!----------------------------------------------------- The angle of the dangle decreases with the sag of the bag, and increases in proportion to the heat of the meat compared to the mass of the ass and the beauty of the cutie.

The misty rainforest would have went in because I didn't have many islands in there and the specters were waiting in my hands for me to draw them. I'm going to look at changing things around a bit. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.
