I would totally get rid of Gruul Draz for some Feat of blood and then i would drop the Malakir Bloodwitch for either Sorin or some Vampire's Bite. Maybe even for some card draw add Sing In blood. Maybe even look at Terminate or even Doom blade for some removal besides Disfigure and Marsh Casualities. Thanks for commenting on my deck but i was looking for some more advice besides what you gave cause all you said was to remove one card and what not... 3/5 Also when you have the time could you take a look at my "Zombieland Grixis Style" deck

your asking me to take out cards that stay in play and help you again and again, and replace them with cards that work once and are gone. I dont agree in this example

i'd say replace kalitas and marsh casualties with blood seekers... both of them cost too much...

i find bloodseekers to be invaluable... esp against green or token spawning decks...

and searching library is NOT a good idea against a black/blue mill deck... archive and ravenous trap combo is nonsense...

otherwise... nice!! oh and pls see if you can donate your 2 cents worth to my deck... thanks please give feedback on my decks... thank you so very much...

not sure i see a need for the sac lands? i'd drop it down to 22 lands and all of them swamps...
but anyways some ideas would be:
-guul draz, -bloodchief, -marsh casualties, between these and the land difference you have nine slots to fill....
Some possibilities: bone splinters (works great with bloodghast), feast in blood, infest (instead of marsh but really honestly not necessary, i'd side board it for tokens only), vamp bite is actually a really great card, and finally def add sign in blood.... now my opinion is based on my metagame so depending on the decks ppl in your area are running it may be different, good luck, hope i helped
When in doubt... counter

The Sac lands do not slow you down one bit bucause the new land comes in to play untaped and ready to go, but by using sac lands you thin your deck of 8 land therby incresing your odds of getting the cards you need without sacraficing your mana base.

Added sign in blood Today for card draw. seamed to be running out of hand to quickly, Sign in Blood will hopefully keep the deck moving. I have 3 Turnament ready decks Please Rate them! (Red Deck Wins 2010)(Nausea)(Brain Damaged)

Man I really like how sacrificing lands makes the game faster and help Bloodghast; however, in my opinion (I hope I’m not wrong), the deck is fixed by Vampire nocturnus and a metagame can dissapear your 4 vampires, take care of that. You may say “but Gatekeeper of Malakir or all my creatures”, and I may answer that the creatures are not really strong and that Gatekeeper of Malakir can fix it in your metagame, that’s good. Besides that, I will like to know if the deck works very well. On the other hand, I think Bond splinter may do a good work instead of Desfigure. Wish I can help more another day and if you can comment in my deck “bleed”. Could it give you a surprise? =D what does it mean ? :S

Unfortunatly i have not been able to play test it yet, still need 3 more bloodgast and all 4 vampire nocturnus to complete this deck. Been spending all my Play time and card money on my (Brain Damaged) deck.

I think this deck could compete at turnament but would never make top tier. Vampires are just not strong enouf yet, hoping they add somthing with the next set. I have 3 Turnament ready decks Please Rate them! (Red Deck Wins 2010)(Nausea)(Brain Damaged)

the problem with sighn in blood and the fetch lands is that you could possibly put yourself down to 4 life without your opponent ever having touched you. in my own vamp deck ive noticed this and i dont (as of yet) have any of the new fetch lands in it. tendrills is a good way of offsetting this life loss, as ive noticed that the nighthawk doesent always keep up. hope that helped. Please comment on my vamp deck "vampires blood lust" I kill bad guys!

I like this deck, just would main deck feast and SB doom blade, maybe drop 4 fetch lands, not to slow it down but BC of traps, and replace it with either swamps or pirrannah marsh. Maybe replace the Noctunus w/ Blood Seekers, even in a mono black vamp deck, they dont work that well all the time. I have Needlebites in my SB, they can work fine, but its up to you.

Droped my own rating to a 4 and kicked my self out of the top 10 lol. But this is just not a top tier deck, the best vampire deck "yes" but vampire's just are not that good. I hope to see more Vamps in next expantion. I have 3 Turnament ready decks Please Rate them! (Red Deck Wins 2010)(Nausea)(Brain Damaged)

since there are so many vampire decks out there you get to see which ones really shin, this one is pretty solid. but i feel tendrils of corruption would be better then marsh casualties. and marsh in my opinion would be a better sideboard card against creature based decks.

Malakir Bloodwitch can turn a game, running 2 i think isn't the best of things since it can't be pathed and shuts down baneslayer.

3/5 (see how i rate below) 1: why?, 2: okay, 3: good, 4: great, 5: amazing.... if you got a low rating, don't be mad at me... fix your deck.

In the sideboard you need Pithing Needle for planeswalkers, Putrid Leech, and anything else that has an activated ablity. Hell even opponents fetch lands if they are playing ones you are not using.

I do not like Doom Blade. It is a dead card vs Putrid Leech, Broodmate Dragon(half), any other Vampire deck. I find Tendrils is better and you can recover some of the life you have lost I only comment on decks, I do NOT rate decks. Most of my decks are EXPENSIVE and for COMPETITIVE play. Good build. I'd probably run something else over marsh casualties though. Tendrils is pretty good. Rate/Comment my deck: Louder Than Thunder. I'll return the favor.

Don't run the fetchlands in a mono color deck to "thin" it. It takes up to 18 turns to see card advantage from sacrificing all four of them. I even have a source to prove my point:

http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/print.asp?ID=3096

I'd just remember that for future decks. The fetches play an important role in this deck right now, thanks to Bloodghast and Vampire Nocturnus.

By the way, Disfigure is really bad. It doesn't nothing against Jund right now, so they end up completely dead in the matchup (unless you want to 2 for 1 yourself during blocking, which isn't good for obvious reasons). I'd actually recommend running Feast in Blood in the maindeck for that reason (as Jund is THE best deck right now. Period).

Sure, it may be hard to keep to Vampires on field sometimes, but running 2, 3 or so won't be an issue and still gives you a chance to remove their big-ass bastards. Doom Blade and Disfigure just suck against Jund (it can't kill a Leech). The Deathmarks will greatly help after sideboarding (by removing Doomblade completely so you don't have dead cards maindecked).

Other than that, I have no real suggestions. Feast in Blood is just too good of a card (4 life + kill a Putrid Leech? Nice), but your creature base is perfect, I feel. I'm not the most intelligent person on this site, but I'll sure as hell speak as if I am.

No reason for all the mana excell. IMO.
Lacerator isn't that good when he acts a double bladed sword. Guul Draz is a 3/1 intimidate once they hit 10.
Infest is better than Marsh Casualties.
Instead of running either of them I think Doom Blade or Bonesplinters is better off.
You could do what everyone else told me and take Feast of Blood's out.
I never really noticed a difference without them.
I still manage to keep the board clean unless it's going against a swarm but Nocturnus just makes flyers so there's no worry there either. Please comment and rate my Valakut deck and or my Bushwhacker's Miny Assault. I shall return the favor. x.Herron.x

Vampire Lacerator = CANCER!
But look at the bright side; it will stop beating you when you have surrendered half of your life ;) Check out both my "Chandra's Habanero" and "Raging Flame Sprite Style" decks and help me decide which version will be more viable for a serious tourney. I will gladly comment back on your decks if you want me to.

okie...

my take on this is simple.

at 1 mana, you get a 2/2, on the other hand, you get a 1/1.

lacerator keeps sapping you until your opponent drops to 10 or less...

guul draz becomes a 3/2 and has intimidate when your opponent is 10 or less...

i'd say go for the lacerator, your opponent will most probably ignore it since it deals 1 damage to you every turn. and if he/she deals with it, that means 1 less blocker or removal. if he/she doesn't, you deal 2 points of damage to him. and if you have bloodchief acension, the lacerator will give you 1 counter in turn 2.

so my vote is for lacerator. please give feedback on my decks... thank you so very much...

here's a great scenario for you. remember in the day the wonderful serendib efreet 3/4 flying that sucks you for a life every turn. very highly played and worth the one point of life for three mana and a flyer that big. I say that lacdrator and graz drul are both situational. Howabout consolidate fix and drop two of each in and call it a tie game. anyway its a good build, I have one but not submitted, thanks for the ideas.
rate my deck "the clone wars" or my "overmill" please i would like to get an opinion on it thanks!
