Best discard deck i have seen. glad some one is not trying to put howling mines in a discard deck lol. Hellfire mongral should win it for you half the time. and Megrim with burning inquiry (sick)

Infest, Demonic Dread(make specter unblockalbe for a discard and cascade), Sadistic Sacrament(anti combo/control), and the new black trap that blows up graveyards, or relic of progenisis for unearth decks.

I'm surprised that lightening bold isn't main Deck. Maybe a little heavy on the megrims, but at least you feed it with a play set of inquiry.

And yeah, no underworld dreams, howling mine here good idea. don't feed them into a good top deck

Cool first to 10 ratting for me. This deck has one 2nd place turnament under its belt and ill keep you posted after next saterday. Was sick with swine flue last week and did not get to play it.

I don't see much of an use of Sadistic Sacrament here... it removes the most menacing spells, sure, but there must be something more agresive out there.

i wouldnt say its the best discard deck i have ever seen. there are not too many answers for what happens if something hits the field. sure you have terminates and lightning bolts, but if it evades those 2 and you cant really defend against it, you just might be screwed. not to mention if they are gaining life every turn to offset that hound and whatever they discard, since you dont have any instant speed discard, that too might ruin your idea. however since most people are running things like bant no more you should be alright for the time being

Also, I'd main the 2 Pyros with all the R/W decks out there.
And perhaps you're trying to keep this budget, but you should trim your mana base a little and spring for a play set of Dragonskull Summits.
I really like R/B for discard in the current Standard Format, and this is one of the most solid builds I've seen so far. 5/5

This deck is just awesome. Hell it's inspirational lol. However I don't know if you want this or not because it'll add to the mana curve but perhaps Haunting Echoes? You get to go through and exile everything they've discarded already. It'll help slim their decks and work on bigger things that they could bring out. It's just a thought though. I'll give it a 5/5.

Great deck. Makes me want to reorganize my Spiteful Breakdown deck based around inquiry/blightning/megrim. I'd love to splash some of the creatures around and am thinking of combining the two. I need to drop the draw functions and focus on discarding.

Anyway, on to the deck. I love what you've done with it, but I too would remove the sad. sac. Definitely consider throwing in Demonic Dread as well. Cascade can trigger a terminate, bolt, or inquiry to add insult to injury. Good build, looking to acquire some of it.

So sick. And relatively cheap. And legal. That's not something you see too often.

So i took some advice and swaped Sadistic Sacrament for the Thought Hemorrhage ( now i need to place another card order ) I decided not to main deck the Pyroclasm because i did not want to torch my Hellfire Mongrel, ill keep them in the side bord for now. Dragonskull summit is a little expesive for me right now but ill add it to deck list, Trying to keep this a close to my turnament deck as possable.

Wanted to add something but was afraid you wouldn't look at it if I didn't add new. Look into Bloodchief Ascension. Great versatility and first turn drop. Think on it ;o)

Scepter of Fugue isn't that good, when you could play Liliana Vess.

idk actually run Bituminous Blast in the deck with the chance of cascading into a card that would let you discard or give you a creature need be.

Nyxathid is good, but i don't know if 4 is beneficial.

I think Bloodchief Ascension isn't a terrible card for this deck, if you do decided to run them 2 or 3 would be good enough.

even if you only have 4 swamps out when you cast it, better then most.

to clerify a few things, i did not rate your deck lower then i thought it deserved.

a person like like you doesn't yet have a firm grasp on magic as a whole. this deck simply isn't fast enough to win before a bituminous blast can be played. it's just not. you say it's too slow, even though in the last major tournament all of the decks with the colors ran the card. you are not paying 5 mana just for 4 damage, you are paying it to use cascade, being able to kill a creature and make them take 3 damage and discard 2 cards.

mind sludge is for the sideboard for decks that that draw a lot. i never said it was for main board, so don't tell me i'm trying to make your deck worse when you don't understand the english language.

have you considered sign in blood? but then again you probably wont understand why i recommended it. i'll explain it because you don't seem to not understand a lot of my suggestions. make them draw, lose two life and then make them discard it, it's risky but any solid deck would shut this deck down since discard isn't that good of a deck type in this new standard.

you deck isn't that good, when you run one Thought Hemorrhage main board, it's a sideboard card, because if you rely on it you wont get it and when you don't want it you draw it. just keep them sideboard since they don't benefit you for what this deck is... discard.

and your sideboard isn't that good. you have 8 cards in the deck that will kill most of your stuff. Marsh Casualties is better.

Ascension is great but you have to focus on it to get it off quikly. If you where going to go that route i would say you need some more cheap burn like burst lightning. By the way i jacked your idea, hope you don't mind.

Here is a recap of the deck.
Megrim and Helfire Mongrel Should acount for 2 damage every turn, and Burning Inquiry helps justify Megrim late in the game and just adds insult to injury. Duress, Septer and Blightning insure that Guul Draz Specter remains a 5/5 and Nyxathid remains a 7/7 and the Helfire Mongril never runs out of fire.

At 7/7 Nyxathid evades many of the most popular control, lightning bolt, Pyroclasm, marsh casualties, infest, hideous end, burst lightning, volcanic fallout.

The kill comes from A combination of Hellfire Mongril's 2 damage per turn, and the 7/7 Nyxathid and 5/5 Gull Draz Specter.

Several people have said they are building this deck and i think thats Grate! I have not see anything like it anywhere, but if you find yourself setting across the table from me at turnament you have to agree to forfit hehe.

if i see you at a tournament i'll make sure to bring your a box of tissues. look at the deck i have, jack wang's jund aggro. why would i give up with that... or even the cascade control deck i have posted.

you rely on many things in this deck, that's why you don't see it anywhere... pro's don't use it because it's slow.
