idea is use elves to generate mana as quickly as possible for with to kill people with 1-2 fireballs. (same as my myr deck, but I'm looking to make it more effective with elves instead of myr.)

OK... this is first draft... so comments would be appreciated.

60 cards and make it 4 wirewood channeler, id say look at mine but the one posted is not anything like the one i actually play so ya...I would also say take out all the red stuff except like lava burst, add mana barbs, and aggravated assault and Silhana ledgewalker, this gives you two win conditions, with five elves on the field, one wirewood and one silhana and the rest random, you can continually use aggravated assault's ability and attack for one each time. I usually do this about turn five and luckily most of my friends dont have many fliers, if you wanted to go further down this way add dust corona so silhana is unblockable.

Demonfire over Baze any day! Otherwise no suggestions, you get a 7, your strategy is quite interesting but I can see this deck being utterly destroyed with creature destruction or burn or especially wrath of god. Mainly I see it losing because it takes so long to collect enough elves that make powerful burn punches to the opponent. Elves are better as back up for creature pumping or mana boosts, using them as a basis for this deck is just not gonna work. I could see them working for their own kind but not for this strategy. Perhaps shift to a tribal deck... okay?
PS Check out my deck "Lord of the Flies" if you can.

No... getting rid of the red spells is not... bleh. Elves are for nothing but mana generation. for more powerful spells. It's supposed to be a burn deck... but instead of 7 hits of 3 each... I do 2 hits for 15 each. A few elves... preist of titania... vitalize... each of my elves are worth 3 mana each... plus the lands I used to bring 'em out. By the time you get enough mana for a wrath of God, you should be almost dead.

It's pretty easy:

Turn 1: Put out a land and an elf
Turn 2: Put out another land, tap all three to put out 3 mana more worth of elf.
Turn 3: Put out another land, you should have about 7 mana to bring out more elves, or a mini fireball
Turn 4: Your opponant has enough mana for wrath of God... so you tap a butt load of elves for mana, vitalize, tap 'em all again, tap all your lands, kill 'em with a blaze/lava/torch/fireball.

If they survive... do it again next turn.

So... I don't want anything in the deck that doesn't give mana (I'll probably even ditch wellwisher... but... but... eh)

And I'd be fine with demonfire over a blaze... Doesn't really matter though between any of the (X)+(red) spells... but demonfire's $11.49... Only reason there's a Birds of paradise in there is because I was given one yesterday... not sure why... they just sort of handed me one.

I always wanted to make a deck like this just for fun but don't have the resources. Subterranean Shambler for the win!
