    1. Refusing Items

      MtgFanatic.com reserves the right to decline the purchase of any item for any reason. Typical reasons include, but are not limited to the following:

      1. Damage / Condition

        Items not meeting the minimum standards for the type of product sold will rejected.

      2. Price Changes

        We may return items that have changed in price between when the sale is processed and when the sale was originally confirmed.

      3. Incorrect Version

        We may return items that are sold as an incorrect version of another item.

    2. Payment for Shipping

      The seller agrees to pay the shipping cost to ship the items to MtgFanatic. In the event that items are rejected for any reason, the payment for cost of shipping to return the rejected items will be deducted from the disbursement.

    3. Payment

      Payment times can vary based on numerous factors such as daily sales or the quantity of items sold to us. Store credit disbursement is made as soon as the sale is processed. Check and Paypal payments are entered into a payment queue where sales are generally paid in a first-in, first-out basis. There are occasionally exceptions to this rule that are up to our discretion. We send payments each week and we pay for sales as soon as possible to keep the payment time as low as possible.

      Current Avg Payment Time: 5 months (we strongly recommend store credit which is paid as soon as the sale is processed.)

    4. Return of Rejected Items

      Most return shipments will have a tracking number so the seller can track the status of the return shipment. MtgFanatic is not responsible for packages lost or damaged by the shipping carrier.

    5. Shipping Times

      All sales to MtgFanatic.com are expected to be shipped within 2 business days. Packages postmarked more than 2 days after the sale date may be rejected due to the overstocking of items or price changes of items in the sale.

    6. Prices

      Prices listed on the buylist are estimates based on the prices we are currently selling the products for. Though it is uncommon, prices are subject to change if there is a dramatic change in the price that we are selling an items for.

      After a sale is processed, you will recieve an email containing the processing report. This report contains the final price offered and a summary of the items accepted and rejected. You have 48 hours to request a return of items that have had a change of price. After 48 hours, the prices are accepted and the disbursement of your sale will be for the prices contained within the processing report.

    1. Shipping Times

      The shipping times posted on our website are estimates only. We do not guarantee shipping times because once the package leaves our facility, the delivery time is out of our control. Refunds or discounts on shipping will not be offered for late delivery of packages that were shipped on time. In the event that your order is shipped late from our facility, we will consider a refund or discount in shipping on an order by order basis.

    2. Condition of Cards

      We do not guarantee the condition of our cards except in limited circumstances where there is a specific written agreement made prior to a purchase between the buyer and MtgFanatic.com.

    3. Returns

      We do not accept returns except in limited circumstances unless there is a prior written agreement between the buyer and MtgFanatic.com.

    4. Cancellations

      We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason. Possible reasons for cancellation include, but are not limited to the following:

      1. Suspected Fraudulent Order

        Before shipping orders, we run a check to make sure they are legitimate. If the check fails, we may cancel your order.

      2. Incorrect pricing.

        Due to the sometimes volatile market for collectible products, sometimes there are major fluctuations in price. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove any item from any order and provide a full refund to the customer for that item.

      3. Non-Payment

        If payment is not received within a reasonable amount of time (currently 30 days) after the order has been placed, we may cancel an order without notice.

    5. We Reserve the Right to Decline Purchase Of Any Item.

      We reserve the right to reduce the purchase quantity of any item for any reason. Reasons that the purchase quantity may be reduced include the following but are not limited to:

      1. Unable to find item

        If we are unable to locate an item due to inventory errors, item damage, etc...

      2. Pricing Error

        As with any data entry job, there may be occasional data entry errors in which the listed price is incorrect. In these cases, we may reduce the quantoty of the item or remove the item from your order.

      3. Rapid Price Fluctuations

        Due to the sometimes volatile nature of the collectible market, sometimes there are rapid price fluctuations. In these cases, we have the right to reduce the purchase quantity of an item. We are well aware of the fact that prices may go up and down significantly as the result of new erratas, card rulings, banning and restricting of cards and the release of deck lists. If you purchase items that have spiked as a result of one of these lists and we have not yet updated the price, do not be surprised if the item is removed from your order. We understand that some people stay up until midnight to see the new deck lists and then snatch up all the cards from card vendors before they can update their prices. We do not support this. If you do this, the item(s) will likely be removed from your order and you will be refunded for the items in full. We do not have people working around the clock, this is a small operation involving a small handful of people and we reserve the right to properly update the prices.

        If you purchase a large quantity of an item that has significantly changed in price, it is VERY likely that the purchase quantity of that item will be reduced. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not purchase large quantities of items, especially ones that have changed in price significantly.

    6. Security Verification

      All orders go through a security verification before being shipped. If an order fails any security measure, we reserve the right to hold an order until the verification is complete. The security verification steps may involve contacting the requesting updated and/or additional information.

    7. All Sales are Final

      Except in limited circumstances where there is a written agreement between the buyer and MtgFanatic.com all sales are final.

    8. Permission to Charge Credit Card

      By confirming your order, you give us permission to charge your credit card for the balance due if Credit card Information was provided to us for your order.

    9. Confirmation of Order Means Acceptance of Terms of Service

      By confirming an order, you agree to the terms of service listed on this page. If there is any part of the terms of service that you do not agree to, do not confirm the order.

  3. How Long Does It Take for My Order to Arrive?

    We are usually able to get all orders placed by 3:00 PM EST out within the same day. You can use the following guidelines to get an idea for the delivery time*:

    Domestic (within the United states)

    • First class: up to 7 days
    • Priority: up to 3 days
    • Express: 1 to 2 days


    International(outside the United states)

    • First class: 1 to 2 weeks
    • Priority: 1 week
    • Express: less than 1 week


    Important: we do NOT guarantee delivery times, and we cannot provide refunds for shipping if a package does not arrive within these guidelines unless the delay was caused directly by us. These are guidelines only and can vary from time to time especially around holidays.

    International: Please be aware that your package must be processed by customs since the package is coming from outside of your country. This frequently causes delays for international shipments. Although package are usually delivered wthin 2 weeks, they can take up to 30 days depending on which country the items are being shipped to.

  4. What Payment Types Do You Accept?

    We accept the following payment types:

    • Cash (includes checks and money orders)

    • Credit Card Gift Cards

  5. How Do I Use Store Credit to Pay for a Purchase?

    Store credit is automatically applied to your purchase and deducted from the total balance due. For example, if you have $10.00 in store credit and make a $25.00 purchase, the ba;ance due is $25.00 - $10.00 in store credit for a total of $15.00. The payment method you select is how you will pay for any remaining balance due.

  6. Why Do I Need to Purchase Insurance?

    Insurance is required in case your package is lost in the mail. Unfortunately, we cannot re-ship missing packages unless the insurance option is purchased. Please go to the following page to read more about our insurance policy. Insurance Policy

  7. Do You Sell to Other Businesses?

    As an Authorized internet retailer for Wizards of the Coast, we are restricted from buying, selling, or trading current sealed product to other businesses. However, we will sell all other products to businesses, and even offer a Frequent buyer program to those who shop here regularly.

  8. Do You Ship to International Locations?

    Yes, we do ship internationally. However, as an Authorized Internet retailer for Wizards of the Coast, we are restricted from selling current Magic: the Gathering sealed product outside the United States and its territories.

  9. What is the Express Checkout and How Do I Use It?

    The express checkout feature allows you to checkout more quickly by using settings from previous orders. Basically, it allows you to save a template that you can apply to future orders. As long as you want to apply the same settings as one of your saved Express Checkout Settings, you can skip the entire checkout process and jump directly to the confirmation screen.

    To take advantage of this feature, all you need to do is checkout. On the confirmation screen, there will be an option to save the settings for future orders.

  10. How Do I File An Insurance Claim?

    To file an insurance claim, we will need the following information from you:



    • Order Number

    • The reason for your claim. (ie, missing package, damaged merchandise, etc..)


    Note that we only accept claims if a package was shipped at least 20 days ago for domestic orders, and 30 days ago for international orders.

  11. My Order Has Not Arrived Yet, What Do I Do?

    Unfortunately, with all mailing services, there is the chance for error on the part of the delivery company. The following are possible reasons your order could be late:



    1. Your package could have been mis-routed to the wrong city. If this happens, the carrier will need to re-direct your package to the correct city.

    2. Large natural disasters such as flooding, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, large snow storms, etc... around the country.

    3. Your package could require signature with no-one there to sign for it. if you get a notice in your mail, please call your post office to arrange for delivery.


    Because packages are occasionally delivered late due to errors on the part of the carrier, we cannot re-ship insured packages until suffiecient time has passed so it is safe to assume the package is missing. For domestic orders, this is a 20-day period. For international orders, this is a 30-day period. If your package is missing after the specified number of days, you can contact us to re-send the package if it was insured and the tracking number does not state that the package was delivered.

  12. What Are Your Shipping Rates?

    Shipping rates are determined by the following:



    • Shipping Destination

    • Combined weight of the ordered items

    • Size of the ordered items


    Because these are unknown until the time of checkout we cannot quote the shipping cost. However, when you are logged into your account, the shipping rates will be shown on your shopping cart for the items in your shopping cart.
